Nvidia Expands Cloud Gaming Capabilities with Install-to-Play Feature and Blackwell RTX Upgrade

Nvidia's GeForce Now is set to transform cloud gaming with its new Install-to-Play feature, allowing users to install games directly in the cloud. The service will expand its library to approximately 4,500 titles, offering a more traditional PC gaming experience. This strategic shift moves away from curated libraries, catering to serious gamers with over 2,200 Steam titles already available for cloud streaming.

The Blackwell RTX architecture upgrade, arriving in September 2025, promises RTX 5080-class performance with frame rates up to 2.8 times faster than previous generations. Despite the significant hardware improvements, Nvidia will maintain its $19.99 monthly membership fee. Premium users can also upgrade their cloud storage from 100GB to 1TB for an additional fee.
